Today (June 23, 2016) Inther Group was present at the opening of the expansion of Skechers its European Distribution Center in Milmort (Belgium). This expansion, of 45.000 square meters to about 100.000 square meters, makes the Skechers EDC the largest DC in southern Belgium.
Within the expansion of the DC, Skechers will also expand their automation. Inther Group will add 2 kilometers of conveyor to the existing 2.5 kilometers. These conveyors will transport Skechers’ shoes to two natrix sorters which will also be implemented by Inther. The implementation will start in August.
