With the GRIPP, which can pick up to 1,200 items per hour 24/7, Inther demonstrates a revolutionary development in order picking technology to substantially increase capacity without having to invest in additional, increasingly difficult to find and expensive personnel. The benefits in cost savings and efficiency increases are commensurate.

At the exhibition stand, the sophisticated operation of the GRIPP can be seen live and up close. For example, how the “gripper” picks up products precisely and optimally regardless of their shape by means of the adaptive approach angle and highly intelligent, flexible and self-learning software. With AI Vision Technology and an intelligent light sensor, the GRIPP measures the weight, length, width and height of a product. Not only does the machine detect incorrect and/or defective products, it also knows how to place an item in up to 12 order totes (including compartmentalized ones) in a controlled and efficient manner, without damaging packaging. Fewer errors, fewer returns!
